Astrology becomes much easier when you learn in layers rather than collecting disconnected interpretations. Start with a solid reference for signs, planets and houses; move to aspects and chart synthesis; only then add predictive, relationship or traditional techniques.
Stage 1: vocabulary
Learn planetary functions, signs as modes of expression, house topics and the basic geometry of aspects.
Stage 2: synthesis
Choose books that demonstrate how multiple placements interact instead of treating every placement as an isolated personality description.
Stage 3: technique
Once natal interpretation is comfortable, branch into transits, profections, solar returns, synastry, electional astrology or other specialized methods according to your goals.
